Over the years, Diomed has established many licence agreements with a variety of companies, ranging from major multi-national corporations to smaller domestic firms, all of which have acquired rights to market Diomed's products in overseas markets. This business has been supplemented by direct export of products from the UK for sale by local agents and distributors around the world.

Additionally, although the vast majority of its UK marketed products are developed in-house, Diomed also has the capability to license-in novel technology from abroad.
