Many of Dermal Laboratories' and Diomed Pharmaceuticals' products are produced by third-party contract manufacturers.

However, in 1998 Diomed Developments acquired Aeropak (Chemical Products) Ltd, a contract manufacturer used by the group's companies to manufacture flammable pharmaceuticals such as Bazuka and Salactol.

This acquisition provided the group with a significant manufacturing capability, which has been enhanced by a major modernisation and investment programme to re-equip and relocate the business. In addition to manufacturing for the group's subsidiary companies, Aeropak continues to offer services as a contract manufacturer for some major healthcare companies.
