Betacap Scalp Application

An economical 0.1% w/w betamethasone valerate scalp application available only on prescription for the treatment of dermatoses of the scalp, such as psoriasis and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Also contains a water dispersible coconut oil derivative to moisturise the scalp.

Betacap should be used following the 'ABC' guidance:

(when application coincides with shampooing the hair, wash and dry the hair first before applying Betacap to the scalp)

• A. Apply sparingly to lesions on scalp
• B. Betacap should be left to dry naturally, there is no need to rinse it off
• C. Continue morning and night until condition improves then reduce frequency of application
